Laura Girlando, LMHC

Laura Girlando is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Qualified Supervisor for Registered Master Level Interns in the State of Florida. Laura earned her Master of Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from FAU in 2016 and has been licensed in the field since 2018. Laura is certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security, and Mental Health First Aid. Laura is also trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Reflective Practice, and Perinatal Mental Health. Additionally, Laura is Endorsed by the Florida Association for Infant Mental health (FAIMH).

Laura uses tailored and eclectic approaches to support her clients, while maintaining a clinical curiosity of how one's past social learning and attachment experiences might shape functioning and connections of today. Laura brings to her clients a warm, authentic, and energetic presence, while gently acknowledging and challenging clients to courageously explore their relationship with self and others.
